Sound Experience / Schooner Adventuress
Sound Experience is a WA State nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that delivers youth environmental and maritime education aboard the fully-restored 1913 schooner Adventuress. The 133-foot gaff-rigged schooner is a jewel of Puget Sound tall ships and is one of only two National Historic Landmark sailing ships still in active USCG operation on the West Coast. Aboard Adventuress, youth and the public learn about stewardship of the Salish Sea, maritime skills – and what it means to be a “shipmate.”
