Tordenskjold halibut schooner

FV Tordenskjold is the oldest surviving example of a halibut schooner, a type of fishing boat designed in the Pacific Northwest for fishing the waters of the North Pacific and Bering Sea for halibut. Tordenskjold was donated to Northwest Seaport in 2017 for public display and educational programming, showcasing Seattle’s long history of fishing and wooden boat construction.
