Washington State History Museum
Operated by the Washington State Historical Society, the Washington State History Museum explores the people and places of our state through interactive exhibits. Its permanent exhibits provide background on all aspects of the state’s history—including the shoreline’s natural history and resources, canoe cultures and Tribal treaty rights, migration and immigration patterns, and the commerce facilitated by Washington’s waterways, particularly international shipping.
